Silicone is sterilizable so you can wash Ellis for 3 minutes in hot, soapy water; or put it in boiling water for 3 minutes; you can even put it in the top rack of your dishwasher! (Maybe without the dishes and only with a gentle soap.) Only use water based lube with Ellis to prevent silicone break down. Remove the vibrator before you clean Ellis. The vibrator can be cleaned with warm, soapy water. Make sure the battery compartment is fully closed first. There's an O ring just below the threads that keeps it dry. Check it regularly to make sure the ring is intact. If it breaks, you can take it off the toy and go into a hardware store and tell them you need an O-ring in that size. They don't have to know what it's for!
Pro-tip:
If you're going to use Ellis in a harness with the vibrator, put some water based lube into the vibrator compartment (so you can get it out later) and put the vibe in with the button facing inside. This way your hips won't bump the vibrator button while you thrust!
