Silicone is fantastic for butt toys because it's sterilizable. You can put this toy into boiling water for 3 minutes, you can wash it with bleach, you can put it in your dishwasher (maybe without all the dishes…) or you can just wash it for 3 minutes with warm soapy water. Voila! Sterilized!
The vibrator can be washed with warm, soapy water or wiped with alcohol. Remove or block the battery between uses to preserve the motor and the battery. There's a rubber ring below the threads the cap screws onto that keeps the battery compartment dry. Check it regularly to make sure the ring is intact. If it breaks, you can take it off the toy and go into a hardware store and tell them you need an O-ring in that size. They don't have to know what it's for!
